The secular Mindfulness aspects are taught by the Mindfulness Association who have 10 years’ experience in teaching Mindfulness, Compassion and Insight through a proven process of meditation practices, drawn from different wisdom traditions. The teachings are based on neuroscience, psychology and Buddhism.
The academic aspects are taught by the University of Aberdeen.
The full MSc Studies in Mindfulness course guides students towards

- studying and critically researching the history and cultural aspects of mindfulness and compassion and their application within a selected professional or personal context
- understanding the key components of teaching Mindfulness, should a student wish to train to teach mindfulness.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate and present the many facets of mindfulness and compassion, bringing a wide range of benefits to individuals, workplaces and to the wider world.
